HOUSE AND THIRTEEN ARE TAKEN HOSTAGE
BY A MAN WILLING TO KILL FOR A DIAGNOSIS
ON “HOUSE” TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, ON FOX

Zeljko Ivanek (“Damages”) Guest-Stars
Episode Directed by HOUSE Executive Producer Katie Jacobs

A gun-wielding man from the waiting room at the Princeton-Plainsboro clinic takes House, Thirteen and several patients from the waiting room hostage in Cuddy’s office. The man claims to be sick with a long undiagnosed illness and demands medical attention from the best doctor in the hospital, threatening to kill any hostages necessary along the way. With a room full of already sick patients, House must use them as guinea pigs to assure the hostage-taker that the medications he is administering to him are legitimate. As Cuddy and the rest of House’s team communicate with House over the phone to run tests and offer possible diagnoses, they ponder the possibility that the hostage-taker has nothing physically wrong with him and that everyone in Cuddy’s office could wind up dead. With one hostage already shot, Thirteen wagers her own already diminished health as she simultaneously receives the experimental treatments the hostage is receiving. Her life lies in danger as House’s own determination to diagnose the hostage-taker threatens to thwart the SWAT team’s plan to put an end to the standoff in the “Last Resort” episode of HOUSE airing Tuesday, Nov. 25 (8:00-9:08 PM ET/PT) on FOX. House executive producer Katie Jacobs recently participated in a conference call with the press. Barbara Barnett of Blogcritics, Korbi Ghosh of Zap2it, Matt Mitovich of TV Guide and Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel all report on the call. Warning: there are some spoilers in there.

One of the things that is not a spoiler is that the November 25 episode, the one about the hostage situation, will extend 8 minutes longer than the normal run time, beginning at 8:00 PM ET and ending at 9:08 PM ET.

Here is the description, care of Fox, for tonight's episode, "The Itch." If you are recording it, please note the unique ending time of 9:01 PM ET.

HOUSE AND THE TEAM TREAT AN AGORAPHOBIC PATIENT

WHO REFUSES TO LEAVE HIS HOME

ON “HOUSE” TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, ON FOX

When an agoraphobic man falls mysteriously ill and adamantly refuses to leave his home to get treatment at the hospital, House and the team go to him to figure out what might be wrong. Cameron takes charge as she has treated the patient before, and she and the team figure out ways to bring the hospital to the patient’s home, much to Cuddy’s disapproval. But as the patient’s condition worsens and their options for treating him inside his home become increasingly limited, House and the team scheme to get the man into the hospital for surgery without causing any further physical trauma or emotional anxiety. Meanwhile, Cameron and Chase attempt to work through some kinks in their relationship, and House deals with an annoying itch he cannot seem to scratch as Wilson comes up with his own analogies about House’s prickly situation in “The Itch” episode of HOUSE airing Tuesday, Nov. 11 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/ PT) on FOX. (HOU-507) (TV-14 D)

Michael Ausiello of EW.com has some spoilers related to House, Cuddy, Cameron and Chase.

Question: Now that we've seen the big House-Cuddy smooch, what can we expect next from these two? -- Samantha
Ausiello: They're moving in together on Dec. 2! Sort of. The collateral damage resulting from the upcoming hostage crisis at Princeton Plainsboro will force Cuddy to temporarily move into House's office, which creates an even bigger crisis. Picture War of the Roses only with different leads and only slightly less attempted murder.

Question: Any info you have on House and Cuddy would be great! Will there be another kiss? -- Kourtney
Ausiello: No kissing in the immediate future, although there will be some light fondling.

Question: Riddle me this: How is it that the Fox promo for next Tuesday's House is completely focused on House and Cuddy, even though everyone (you included, my friend) has been hyping it for months as focused on Chase and Cameron? Are the blond lovebirds even going to share more than the already-spoiled surgery and make-out scene, or was this just more empty promises? -- Emily
Ausiello: Okay, first off, simmer. Second, simmer some more. And third, keep simmering while I give you the facts about next Tuesday's ep: Chase and Cameron are not in every scene, but issues surrounding their relationship -- specifically, her reluctance to make room for him in her life (literally and figuratively) -- loom large throughout the hour. Hameron also gets a fair amount of face time in the episode, since the victim-of-the-week is a former patient of Cam's.
